The feel of good, heavy stock in my hands makes me smile, while poor typesetting and the public use of the Papyrus or Comic Sans typefaces make me tick.

I loathe laziness, but I am inspired by those (especially the younger generation) who want to change the world for the better – and believe that they actually CAN.

I have always been passionate about the visual arts, and anything creative for that matter; but I have been partial to design and visual communication since the age of twelve because it has helped to marry my two major interests: creative art and writing.

I am an honours graduate from the York University/Sheridan Institute Joint Program in Design (Toronto), with a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Design degree. Attending school here gave me the best of both worlds in which I was able to be fully involved with academic studies in a university setting, as well as get the hands-on studio application experienced in a college setting.

I now have over three years of professional experience in the design industry, and this is comprised studio work, freelance work, and work as an in-house graphic designer for a small corporation.

I believe that communication is the key to progression and development in life. It is key in developing successful businesses around the world, and more importantly it is key in developing successful and long-term relationships with others around the world.

And, as the world grows increasingly smaller everyday, my job is to connect people by communicating the non-visual ideas and messages of an individual, a group, or even a large corporation, and effectively and efficiently turning them into something visual for people to see, to comprehend and then to analyze.
